The U.S. Public Education System Is Too Often...

A TOTAL MESS

And Parents Concerned For Their Children,
With A Lick Of Common Sense...

KNOW THIS

Dear Concerned Parent,

There’s no need to tell…or remind you…of your unconditonal love for your children. How you alwyas strive to provide the best care and upbringing for them you can.

You’re willing to to do whatever it takes to ensure they experience a life of happiness, abundance, and satisfaction to the greatest degree possible.

And that no doubt includes preparation for their larger lives, when they “fly the coop” into adulthood, seeking their own unique life adventures – fitted and equipped to conquer whatever challenges that may stand in their path.

Of course, a well-rounded, foundational education is an essential componment of your children’s evolving, developing, formative self.

After all, very few achieve a minimum standard of security and compatibility in life without a solid grounding in the three R’s – SCHOOL CHILDREN 1900S‘reading’, ‘riting’, and ‘rithmatic’.  These halmarks of human civilization have become the foundational bedrock of our education.

These days, our studies take us even further to include history, social studies, science, art and music, foreign languages, plus sporting events and other extra-carricular activities and organizations.

The U.S Education System's Isn't Cutting It

Our educational systems and institutions have morphed and expanded substantially over the last 200 years.

Becoming official with the creation of the ‘Common School’ and ‘Compulsory Education’ in 1800’s New England, our children have been gradually compelled by law to attend some form of schooling.

This all culminated in the Department Of Education in 1979, created to “provide national leadership”.

We know what has occurred since. Plummeting education scores.  Staggering proficiency decreases in the 3 R’s. It’s a disaster – a real sh-t show.  And this is our children were talking about!

Think about where we’d be without our national  can-do spirit and free-enterprise system.  And where we could be with a properly educated populace.

America’s Public Schools Are Bloated With Bureaucracy And Skinny On Results

NY POST EDUCATION COSTS

A practical illustration of this disturbing trend is the Catholic school system in the state of New York. These schools are left to themselves, so they operate like private enterprises, not unionized, public school monopolies.

It’s been found that the New York City public schools system has 250 times as many administrators as the New York Catholic school system. 6,000 administrators in the public school system versus 24 in the Catholic school system, even though New York public schools have only four times as many students as the Catholic schools.  This is not only incompetent, it’s downright fraudulent.

As it is with every government created bureuacracy, the public schools have replaced progress and greater efficiency with stagnation and higher costs.

Since 2000, the number of students has grown by about 5 percent and the number of teachers has grown by about 10 percent. Yet, surprisingly, the number of principals and assistant principals has grown by 39 percent and the number of administrative staff members has grown by 95 percent.

According to a recent Gallup poll, U.S. parents’ concern for their children’s physical safety at school is the highest it’s been in over two decades. Currently, 44% of U.S. parents say they fear for their kid’s personal safety in the classroom — a 10% jump since 2019 and nearly as high as 1999’s notorious event.

Moreover, educators themselves feel less safe than they used to, according to EdWeek Research. Their recent survey found that 40% of teachers are more worried about safety than they were five years ago.

SCHOOL SAFETY ISSUES

According to a Gallup poll, U.S. parents’ concern for their children’s physical safety at school is the highest it’s been in over two decades. Almost half of parents say they fear for their child’s personal safety in the classroom — a 10% jump since 2019 and nearly as high as the notrious events of 1999 and 2001.

Moreover, educators themselves feel less safe than they used to. A survey found that 40% of teachers are more worried about safety than they were five years ago.

See What Others Say

Prior to using RPC, I spent from 15-20 hours a week preparing, teaching and reviewing assignments. Now I spend about an hour a week checking on their progress. They love the feeling of personal responsibility gained from working independently.
I've tried countless curricula for my 3 children, and every one has required so much of my time that I would be overwhelmed and have little time left for other obligations -- let alone free time! I have reduced my requirement from several hours per DAY to just a few hours per week, not to mention the content is excellent and engaging, and BONUS-common core free!
We we have been using the Ron Paul Curriculum, and our total instructional time is now approximately 2 hours per week
With RPC, I spend a few minutes reviewing their daily summaries and an hour a week discussing their weekly essays. We are beginning the third quarter and they are excited to begin school every day. I highly recommend this curriculum.
